Verify a spotter credential

Every WxAlerts spotter certificate carries a credential number. Enter it here and this page will tell you whose it is, when it was earned and whether it is still in date. You do not need an account.

A holder has completed the WxAlerts General Spotter course, which covers storm structure, rotation cues, hail and wind estimation, flash flooding, reporting criteria, safety and positioning, radar interpretation, communications and ethics. The Advanced course builds on it. The credential runs for one year from the date the course was completed. How the certification works.
